Cervicalgia: how to reduce pain with FIT Therapy Cervical Patch

Insight into different types of neck pain and different protocols with respect to pain level

Definition of neck pain

Neck pain, which involves the neck region, can have many different causes and can manifest itself in various ways. Some of the common types of neck pain include:

  1. Acute pain: This is often caused by trauma, such as a car accident or a fall. It can cause sudden and severe pain in the neck and may require immediate medical attention.
  2. Chronic pain: Chronic neck pain persists over time and is often caused by structural problems such as cervical arthrosis, herniated discs or spinal stenosis. It may be constant or recurrent.
  3. Pain from muscle tension: Tension and swelling of the neck muscles can cause pain and stiffness. This type of pain often improves with rest, muscle relaxation and physiotherapy treatment.
  4. Nerve compression pain: Compression of the cervical nerves can cause pain that radiates to the arms and hands, as well as the neck. This can be caused by herniated discs or spinal stenosis.
  5. Inflammation pain: Inflammation of cervical joints or surrounding tissues can cause chronic or recurring pain.

The FIT Therapy Cervical Patch can be used to treat painful events related to neck problems such as arthritis, arthrosis, neck pain or whiplash.

It turns out to be a natural alternative to using medication or heat-releasing devices.

Supplementary Resolution Protocols

Protocols for resolving neck pain may vary depending on the underlying cause of the pain. Some common approaches include:

  1. Riposo: In caso di dolore acuto, il riposo può essere raccomandato per un breve periodo per consentire la guarigione dei tessuti.
  2. Physiotherapy: Stretching and strengthening exercises can help improve neck strength and flexibility.
  3. Manual therapies: Chiropractic, osteopathy or manual therapy can be used to treat structural problems of the neck.

Management of neck pain must be customised according to the specific cause of the pain and the patient’s needs. It is important to consult a doctor for a full evaluation and proper treatment planning.
